About Khanna Law, PLLC
Priti Khanna is the principal attorney and founder of Khanna Law, PLLC. Priti’s primary fields of practice are family law, immigration, and wills and estates law, and she regularly handles complex litigation related to custody, divorce, child and support matters.
Priti decided to pursue a career in law in order to join a profession where she could directly and positively impact people and their lives. She brings a wealth of litigation experience to her cases and although works hard to achieve efficient and satisfactory settlements for her client’s outside the courtroom, she is an aggressive & effective litigator and not afraid to fight for you inside the courtroom.
Priti started her legal career by working as a law clerk to State Court Judges in Georgia where she gained insight into the inner workings of the legal system. She subsequently entered private practice where she gained extensive experience in family law, immigration and business law. While practicing in Georgia, Priti regularly represented and worked with survivors of domestic violence and conducted a pro bono legal clinic for a local non-profit working with survivors of domestic violence.
After relocating to Virginia, Priti continued her practice in the field of family law and immigration. She also expanded her practice to wills and estates in order to provide a one stop shop for families to preserve their present and plan for their future.
Despite her busy work schedule, Priti finds time to volunteer with various non-profit organizations including her own non-profit organization which helps single mothers. Aside from law, Priti’s passions consist of running, books, art and travel. She resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and daughter and is actively involved in her community.

Jeanelle Mehta joined Khanna Law, PLLC as an of-counsel in 2019. Jeanelle’s primary field of practice is employment and business related immigration law. Jeanelle represents and advises employers and employees on matters of employment based immigration, Forms I-9 compliance, audits, as well as employer sanctions actions. Jeanelle also provides representation on matters regarding family based immigration.
Jeanelle moved to Virginia, from Cincinnati, Ohio in 2018. While in Cincinnati, Jeanelle owned and operated a law office where she practiced family law, business law, and criminal law. In her practice Jeanelle regularly represented clients in contentious divorce matters, and also focused on collaborative law, often assisting clients in endeavoring to obtain an amicable separation from their spouse. Jeanelle also represented businesses and business owners in matters involving litigation, contract preparation and disputes, and IRS tax matters. Jeanelle further represented citizen and non-citizen clients in criminal, and OVI matters.
Jeanelle began her legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Montgomery County Domestic Relations Court performing legal research and drafting opinions. Thereafter she jumped into private practice and worked for a firm in Cincinnati focusing on Homeowner’s Association and Condominium Law, and Business Law. After the birth of her first child, she pursued a more entrepreneurial method of practice by starting her own law firm.
Jeanelle is an active member of her local community where she regularly volunteers for her children’s school. Jeanelle’s interests include cooking, hiking, reading, and traveling.
