About Priti Khanna
“I pride myself in not only providing my clients zealous and smart representation inside and outside the courtroom, but also in providing them with a clear understanding of the legal rights and process they are undertaking”
Priti Khanna is the principal attorney and founder of Khanna Law, PLLC. Priti’s primary fields of practice are family law and immigration, and she regularly handles complex litigation related to custody, divorce, child and support matters.
Priti decided to pursue a career in law in order to join a profession where she could directly and positively impact people and their lives. She brings a wealth of litigation experience to her cases and although works hard to achieve efficient and satisfactory settlements for her client’s outside the courtroom, she is an aggressive & effective litigator and not afraid to fight for you inside the courtroom.
Priti started her legal career by working as a law clerk to State Court Judges in Georgia where she gained insight into the inner workings of the legal system. She subsequently entered private practice where she gained extensive experience in family law, immigration and business law. While practicing in Georgia, Priti regularly represented and worked with survivors of domestic violence and conducted a pro bono legal clinic for a local non-profit working with survivors of domestic violence.
After relocating to Virginia, Priti continued her practice in the field of family law and immigration and often represents clients in highly contested custody, spousal support, and divorce cases.
Despite her busy work schedule, Priti finds time to volunteer with various non-profit organizations including her own non-profit organization which helps single mothers. Aside from law, Priti’s passions consist of running, books, art and travel. She resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and two children and is actively involved in her community.
